The Enga Tourism Bureau has announced its first ever all-inclusive tour package for the Enga Cultural Show weekend. The 3-night package is a partnership with PNG Air, PNG Tourism Promotion Authority and the Malyam Hotel in Wabag, covering flights, accommodation, meals and entry tickets to all the delights of Enga Province at show time but at a much lower than cost than usual.
Enga Cultural Show Chairlady, Margaret Potane said, “The show committee is thrilled that PNG AIR has been able to come on board with us to put this package out with a special flight schedule to Wapenamanda for the show. And, that PNG TPA has been able to subsidise the flight costs to make the package more affordable for people to come.”

Malyam Hotel represents the changing face of Wabag’s hospitality services, with the addition of a spacious new wing that boasts sweeping views over the town. The hotel is leading the charge for the province’s hospitality services, making connections, building partnerships and upgrading their facilities to boost their profiles and grow their businesses.
Guests who book the Experience Enga 3-Night Package will be able to take in all the extraordinary traditional cultures of the province at the Enga Cultural Show and the Take Anda Museum and Art Gallery, and will also spend a day exploring the flavours and the history of Enga on the Tasting Enga day tour through Laiagam District. It includes a visit to the historic Mulisos Salt Ponds.
Mrs Potane said, “The Enga Cultural Show is a big drawcard for people visiting Enga Province and we want them to also have the chance to get out of Wabag town and see more of the province. That’s why we have the Tasting Enga tour on the Sunday (13th August). Now, with this all-inclusive tour package this experience has become more accessible.”
The package cost of K2,685 per person gives guests a discount of more than K1,800 and includes costs for flights, accommodation, meals, airport, showground and tour road transport, entry tickets to showgrounds, museum and salt ponds, as well as a mumu lunch on the third day.
