Enga Province is home to unique natural landscapes and exotic animal and plant species, some of which you will see on display at the Enga Cultural Show. 

The area is also famous for spectacular orchids that are not found in other parts of Papua New Guinea, including the rare Dendrobium Engae orchid, which was first discovered in Enga.
 
Traditionally, animal and plant extracts have been used as medicines to treat illness and are often still used today in contemporary Enga. 

The Enga Cultural Show features orchids displays, and demonstrations of traditional medicines and animal domestication.
